18th NATIONAL OENOLOGISTS CONGRESS

“The impact of Torulaspora dellbrueckii Viniferm NSTD on the release of varietal thiols in wines”

A total of 250 oenologists, scientists and oenology and winemaking experts met in Palencia (region of Castilla y León) between 4 and 6 April at the 18th edition of the National Oenologists Congress to review the sector’s novelties, share experiences, knowledge and technological advances, as well as reviewing the current situation of oenology at a global level.

Over the tree days there were 7 conferences and 5 technical talks that discussed the novelties in the sector. The subjects covered in this congress were many and varied, however we would like to highlight AGROVIN’s technical talk, given by Luis Cotanda from the technical department, entitled “Co-inoculation and implantation of lactic acid bacteria”.

The congress was also a networking opportunity for all stakeholders who take part in the winemaking process; they were able to get to know each other better and learn first-hand the most recent oenology advances, techniques and studies.

The attendees were also able to enjoy an area dedicated to scientific exhibitions where AGROVIN also participated by presenting its study/scientific communication “The impact of Torulaspora dellbrueckii Viniferm NSTD on the release of varietal thiols in wines”.
