Awards W´2017 Anibal Coutinho

AGROVIN sponsors the X Edition of the W’17 Anibal Coutinho Awards. Exactly we have awarded the Best Young Winemaker of the Year Award, delivered this year to Luis Lopes of Bodega Quinta da Pellada and the best Winemaker of the year, delivered to Graça Gonçalves from Quinta Do Monte D’Oiro Winery.

• Young winemaker of the year: The young producer of Dan Antonio Madeira, writes in his blog “La paja del Ti Zé Bicadas” that “Luis has been in charge of the Quinta da Pellada winery for several years and before that he was learning from the best, in Germany, in Burgundy. ” He assures that Luis Lopes is “one of the most talented winemakers of the new Portuguese generation”. And I agree. He will continue to impress, now that he left the Pellada.
• Winemaker of the year: His dedication to the Quinta do Monte d’Oiro winery is only similar to the interest in the development and updating of his oenological knowledge. Life has proposed to Gracia Gonçalves challenges of high complexity and the enologist to all has responded with enthusiasm, intelligence and unparalleled capacity for improvement. In addition to being the author of the red wine with the highest score of the Guide Vaso & Alma 2018.
