OBJECTIVE: The CENIT DEMETER project is a consortium which brings together a total of 27 partners and 21 research organizations, with 31 different research groups representing 12 autonomous communities in Spain, the leader of the project being Miguel Torres S.A. The overall objective of the project is to carry out a strategic, multidisciplinary and interregional investigation into the wine industry at a national level that allows for the generation of technical and scientific knowledge, the application of which should become the basis of a new way of understanding the future positioning of the wineries sector and the supporting industry in the face of climate change. Within this project, PRODUCTOS AGROVIN will take the lead in work centred on research into yeasts, as a relevant company in the industry supporting wine production
