CHARACTERISTICS

It adapts well to difficult fermentation conditions such as high fermentation temperatures, high probable alcohol content or late harvests.

APPLICATION

  • Suitable for the production of red wines with short macerations: its agility at the beginning of fermentation allows obtaining a good part of the ethanol in the first 3-4 days of fermentation, helping the extraction of color in short vatings.
  • Elaboration of full-bodied rosé wines.
  • The use of this strain is recommended to counteract high levels of undesirable indigenous yeast: in the case of late harvests or botrytized grapes.
